New Character Sheet

The unique One Ring rules set invites tinkering and secondary creation. Whilst The One Ring works brilliantly as written, we provide this forum for those who want to make their own home-brewed versions of the rules. Note that none of these should be taken as 'official'.

I get the ones from horses are new, but any other? I can't see any other word, but just in case.
In addition to the horse stuff, Distinctive Features and Specialties are separate again; I know those should be relatively obvious (for me to figure out) but clarity never hurts. I can't think of anything else.

Specialties is "Especialidades".
Distinctive Features is "Rasgos Distintivos".

For the horse stuff, we still don't have the official spanish translation (obviously), so I'll come up with the terms. They're not that hard, so here are my options:
Horse -> Caballo
Riding Mod. -> Mod. Cabalgar
Size -> Tamaño
Charge -> Carga
Armour -> Armadura
Quality -> Calidad

Thanks!

As for the Characte Sheet in general, do you think two lines for Additional Gear are needed? It could be so, but I've never seen the need in my games. What do others think of it?
You could gain a bit more space without the second line, which could be used so that the Treasure, Standing,... row is not so close to the bottom of the sheet.

Thank you. I'll get a new version done soon.

I have some players who love to give me additional details about what their heroes are carrying around. It's probably not strictly necessary, but I'd love more feedback from everyone about what they'd like to see...

What I thought. Ok, leave it as is. I think the only time one of my players wrote something under additional gear was a musical instrument. We play by heart the rule of "whatever you need, if it's believable do to your culture and circumstances, you have it". I still remember the loooong equipment lists from MERP, where we even noted the sword AND the dagger's scabbards...

The lastest version of the sheet looks really good. I have no criticisms except the logo!

Sorry, I do understand your reason for not wanting to use the official one, but it genuinely bugs me. :( I want to give my players a character sheet with the "proper" logo on it. And apart from that one point, this is the best sheet I've seen.

Maybe there could be a version without a logo at all so people could paste in whatever they want. ;)

Zed, you've done a great job with the character sheet! To make it really great for me, I would remove the fancy border and the logo altogether, along with any background. I would simply use a similar font (to the logo) and write The One Ring, and then Character Sheet underneath it as a header. This would clean it up and require less ink. But, that's just my opinion.

For some reason, when I try to click the underline for favoured skills, it doesn't persist when I click away. It'll show up when I highlight the line, but once I move away from it to select something else, it goes away. Any insight into why this is happening? I'm using the latest version of Adobe Reader.

I'm away from my computer at the moment, but will look into it. When it's highlighted, you are clicking once to activate it, right?
