New Journey Rules - How do they play?

The unique One Ring rules set invites tinkering and secondary creation. Whilst The One Ring works brilliantly as written, we provide this forum for those who want to make their own home-brewed versions of the rules. Note that none of these should be taken as 'official'.

New Journey Rules - How do they play?

Post by GaladrielsHeels » Mon May 29, 2017 12:04 pm

If anyone has used the New Travel Rules by Rich Harrison, how do they compare to the Core Rules?

Am starting DOM soon and just wondered on the pros and cons ? What can i expect?

Thanks all

You can surely ask your questions in the same thread of Rich's rules; he'd be happy to help for sure.

Just one forewarning: if I'm not mistaken, the Adventures in Middle-earth sourcebook is needed.
But Rich will surely correct me if I'm wrong.

This is the thread with the detailed discussion so probably best asking specific questions in there: viewtopic.php?f=56&t=6970

I think that's a fair assessment. I've removed the AiMe text from my shared document so you really need that book to support these rules; although a clever/experienced GM could likely make a decent fist without it.
