Whilst I absolutely love the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit, I personally think John Milius' Conan the Barbarian is the best fantasy film ever made.

Conan rates high on my list, but I would have to say that best fantasy, IMO, is Excalibur and Dragon Slayer (for the Dragon effects.)

I agree about Dragonslayer. It's also one of my fav fantasy films, & the dragon is brilliant.
