As this is a new board with a functioning search engine, :D and whereas there is only one edition/version of the game and given that everyone here apparently reads every post submitted, there seems to be little reason to invest in sub-forums or new moderators, for that matter.
Don't start arguments over who has a better grasp of hiking and boating or someone might just bring down the banhammer.

Count me in the "Subforums are best done now" crowd. If delayed, the sorting gets harder to do. (creating the sub-boards is trivial; sorting extant content isn't.)

I'd rather see just 3:

General
Rules Q&A
House Rules

This forum does not see enough traffic to warrant splitting into sub-forums. You only need to split into sub-forums if the number of posts is unmanageable; I'm sure the posts here are not. And you really only want to split if the sub-forums have focuses that do not overlap.

I am coming late to the party on this one but I also favour a re-organization of the forum. Topics are all over the map and could benefit from some simple structure. I like the idea proposed by Aramis. I would add one more category perhaps, focusing on fan-generated content (to include adventures, new races, support tools for LMs and players, etc...); arguably, this could be included in 'House Rules'...

Cheers,

LM
