This probably has been mentioned, but what I would like to see with Moria, in addition to history, background, maps & layouts etc., is a sand-box type campaign where the dwarven colony tries to establish itself and drive out whatever's lurking in the dark.

So rules for colony building and managing, where the players (if they're dwarves or other personages in positions of command) can decide how to proceed with the enterprise and having to make difficult choices. Resource and manpower handling etc. Rules for mining and prospecting!
Definitely looking for a way to structure a sandbox campaign. Also want to add my admiration and trust in Gareth's work. Been a fan of his since his Mongoose days. The Ragged Edge was a great campaign. I'm sure that Moria will be a fantastic product to use.

Using Ultimate Fantasy Grounds - that means anyone can play.

Good morning!
To clear up some confusion:

We're taking a modular approach to the rules sections and soaking the accompanying cost ourselves. So you will get rules for both systems, and you'll be able to remove the rules section you don't require, and rest easy knowing you paid no more for it.

So let's say (for example) Moria is a box with 4 manuals in it. One will be the rules for TOR and one will be the rules for AME. You'll be able to throw one away/give it to a friend who has different tastes in rules. The price will be for a box with 3 manuals. Because as I said, we have your back. But we also want to make a Moria boxed set.

We have no plans to convert any other forthcoming title to "dual stat", and we've never used that term officially. I have personally made it clear I dislike "dual statted" products. AME and TOR remain seperate lines as we have always said.
So sweet! Can't wait!!! Finally convinced my long time D&D group to play TOR as our main game soon and having all the books already, I would love to have Moria down the road. :)

And I would assume that one of the other 2 manuals would be a guide to Moria, and the remaining volume would most likely consist of adventures--possibly a Moria campaign.

Every time I see activity in the Moria thread I feel a burst of hope that we might get some little tiny update. Then I see that Jon isn't the last poster and I think, "Well maybe Jon posted and somebody else responded."

At this point, though, I'm having a hard time being optimistic that there's an update somewhere in here....

Apparently there are some who believe that saying "are we there yet!?!" from the back seat gets you there faster. ;)
Adventure Summaries for my long-running group (currently playing through The Darkening of Mirkwood/Mirkwood Campaign), and the Tale of Years for a second, lower-level group (in the same campaign).

This thread is positively sedate, all things considered.
