Adv. Book Cover Art Question

Group: Members Posts: 58 Member No.: 1960 Joined: 22-September 11	While closely examining the Adventurer's Book cover art I found myself wishing I could see the full sized original of the work. I can tell that the art has been cropped to fit onto the book cover, especially because of a tantalizing bit at the very bottom of the cover. There seems to be a hint of a red-golden glow perhaps from a puddle of water in the trail catching the setting sun's glow. Can someone in the know comment on this, or even better offer a link to the full size image if one exists? You are indeed right, the cover art is larger than that. Actually, I think the Elf was meant to almost 'disappear' in the forest background. But I see that the close up works better as a cover, especially for the slipcase. I can't find a copy of the full size image, but can try to find one.

It seems I can't find the uncropped version of the cover, but I remembered that John Howe posted it on his web page, albeit in a very small size... better than nothing!

Thought I'd come take a look here and saw this topic near the top of the page. Nice to see the full image. Great piece, and I'm glad that my woods weren't like these.
