I've made up some simplified cheat sheets that should be a big help to Loremasters when they run battles.

Problem is, though I've got Dropbox and have downloaded these folders into it, I'm not sure how to share them with everyone here. (Can anybody help me figure out how to do so?)

In a nutshell, I've made single PDF sheets that have three adversaries on each (the Loremaster can simply write in 1, 2, or 3). Then there's a column on the left for the Loremaster to write down which PC is currently skirmishing each minion, and it has all of the relevant combat info for the bad guys, from their weapons, to their Hate Points, to their Parry score, and it even lists their special abilities, all so it's easy to find and keeps one from having to flip through pages of the rules.

I've mocked up Goblin Archers, Orc Soldiers, and Attercops, and - now that I've got the basic template down - it would be really easy to make more.

Right click the file, go to where it says Dropbox, then another menu should open with a 'share link' option. Click that and it'll open the file in your browser and give you a link.

Majestic,
Open Dropbox to where the file you want to share is stored (probably the Public folder). Right click on the file and chose Dropbox>Get public link from the context menu that pops up. The link will be copied to the clipboard, so you can paste it anywhere in the normal manner.

I like to also use BBCode Extra (a Firefox plugin, but I imagine their is an equivalent for all of the browsers) which provides easy access to standard reply functions in most forums. For instance it handles LIST, BOLD, etc - and it does it intelligently, not like these forums do with just plopping a code at the current end of message. Anyway, one of the options is URL with Name. Combining the two, you can produce a link like this:

So you see this:Hazard List v0.1.pdf
Instead of this: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/69965004/Hazard%20List%20v0_1.pdf

That is why you see my posts with lots of forum markup. I don't have to deal with each individual forums implementation. I just use BBCode for cross-site consistency.

I have yet to read the books thoroughly.

Thanks, guys. In both cases, when I right click and choose "Dropbox", it gives me three choices:

- Browse on Dropbox website
- Share link
- Share previous versions

Clicking on the "Share" then asks me to add names or emails.

You may have placed your PDFs in a folder other than your Public folder in Dropbox. Try placing them within the Public folder and then right-click.

I did indeed, James. I'm going back and making them public, changing the links (above).

Thanks for the help, all! smile.gif

Let me know what you all think of them, of if there's some changes you think should be made.

I used it tonight, and it worked really well to help combat flow smoothly and efficiently.
