I just finished reading the forum in its entirety yesterday, and I have to say that there's plenty of good stuff. From stats of minor dragons and bears to excel sheets and other programs. Not to mention that there is plenty of discussion on TOR and Tolkein to help new fans of Tolkein become acclimated to the world of Middle Earth. So thank you everyone for making this a great forum and to the developers for making such a unique and interesting game that fits right into The Hobbit! : )

Jon Hodgson, I love your artwork and the great imagery you bring to the game and to The Hobbit. The first video I watched of yours was how you made the Goblin. I remember finding it very interesting and thinking, "Ooooo he's making it look better, better.......worse, worse. Now it looks terrible!" Then your video cut to the finished product and I thought, "This looks great! But what happened between the finished product and the last step that you showed us?" Pretty much all your videos do that, until I recently found your youtube channel yesterday and watched you make Beorn's house. Now I know your secret! Anyway, I just wanted to say that you make great artwork that fits into the feel of Middle Earth and that I hope you continue to make videos.

Thank you for the kind words, and I'm glad you like the end products - I was worried briefly there in the middle! Plenty more videos to come. Though the other day I had thought I had recorded about an hour of a new piece, with voice over, only to discover I had neglected to actually press record. Quality.

Ooh! Just want to be clear - I'm not working on The Hobbit movie. Missed that mention first time around. That's the veritable genius John Howe, who's work leads the charge on The One Ring.

Rereading what I wrote, I realize now I could have said that better; "You bring great imagery from The Hobbit into the game."

Wow! I never knew John Howe is involved with TOR! I didn't realize that you guys have a fellowship of your own.
