I was just re-reading James Brown's excellent review of the game again, and I see where he says that Cubicle 7 will replace books with bad bindings.

My Loremaster's Book seems to be just fine, but within a few days of getting the set (as a Christmas gift) the binding on my Adventurer's Book split.

Is there someone I could contact to see about getting it replaced?

Thanks so much!

I had that problem too, and I got a new game, such class act by Jon & Co. They acted swift and with no problems at all. I for sure gonna buy every TOR supplement that will publish and I have also told my friends about how well run this company is!

Nice! I've heard good things about C7 before, and it's awesome to hear that they have wonderful customer service like that.

I definitely plan on sending much more of my $ their way, as I really like this game! (and I'm getting my large group of gamer friends interested in it as well!) smile.gif

The procedure is to send an email to "info@cubicle7.co.uk".

(And poke me or Jon if you don't hear anything in a few days.)

Yeah, Jon hooked me up with a replacement real fast when mine came apart. I had glued it back together, but a bookbinding expert I am not, so it looked terrible. New copy's bindings seem much, much better than the one I got for Christmas.

Great to hear you guys have received your replacements! It doesn't sit at all well with us that even a tiny fraction of a percentage of bindings are sub par.

I though I was the only one. I didn't finish the Adventure's books and it was already splitted. I'm from Argentina and I bought my book through Amazon. Should I ask for a replacement?

"It doesn't sit at all well with us that even a tiny fraction of a percentage of bindings are sub par.'

Unfortunately, not much you can do. Even the most efficiently run manufacturing organization will put out product with flaws. The only cure is excellent customer service (such as is shown by C7) in making it an easy process to get quick replacements for product that slipped by QC at the factory.

Thanks for this thread. The same thing has happened to me. I received the books for Christmas. The binding on my Adventures book is already coming apart. I assumed it was just bad luck on my part and would have to live with it. After reading the thread I emailed Jon. He was prompt in emailing me back. We exchange a couple emails, I sent pictures and proof of purchase, and he is taking care of me. Great Customer Service!!!!!

Yes, let me echo what Rick said. Jon emailed very quickly and was very prompt and courteous. What fantastic customer service!

Let me add that this will (hopefully) give some good PR for C7. I didn't realize that the pictures I used (which I uploaded into my Photobucket account) would be seen by anybody else. But a friend (fellow RPG fan) asked questions and I've been able to share how awesome the customer service has been!
