Please, keep in mind running it in a convention with "Lifstan Fellowship" and consider briefness, newbie friendly, system learning easiness and Tolkien feel.

I just voted for Of Leaves & Stewed Hobbit. In addition to being fairly simple, it's also just plain fun & wonderfully captures the feel of Middle-earth.

Making the players sing that song as orcs was a highlight of the entire campaign.

+1 for "Of Leaves and Stewed Hobbit" here too. I like how it's the closest of all the adventures in feel to The Hobbit and can be presented as a one-off rather than part of an on-going campaign.

Probably any of the first three would work. A bonus option not found in Tales from Wilderland would be the free downloadable adventure "Words of the Wise".

Of Leaves & Stewed Hobbit and Don't Leave the Path should both work fine.

However, Don't Leave the Path is a bit too generic, while Of Leaves & Stewed Hobbit reminds us of some famous part of the Middle-earth mythology.
So my choice would be Of Leaves & Stewed Hobbit.

I'm reading this thread as a demand for more dodgy songs.

I voted Of Leaves... as well, for the reasons others have given (it also gives a good tour of different subsystems).

I noticed after I voted that some people went for Kinstrife... and that could work too.

And just in case any of you need a sample of the Goblin Song, sung by yours truly, here is a link to a recording I made awhile back: The Goblin Song. Enjoy!

"Kinstrife" is good, but does not fit the briefness constraint, IMO. If you roleplay through the various encounters, and also have a final battle, it can take at least three 4 hour sessions.
