Can somebody please please please give us a little info about upcoming releases. Tales from Wilderland was already available for order, is due in Winter (at least I hope you mean this winter) and is now not available for pre-order anymore. It is November. Today it's snowing in Munich. Sounds like Winter to me.
No, seriously: quite many people love the game and appreciate the work which you did (and you really did a great job). All the more, all these people want more, can't wait for the next products, the dice sets, maps, loremaster screen... Please give us some more info. |

Both Tales From Wilderland and the LM's Screen are in production. I realise that's an incredibly vague statement, and generally we try to wait until there is something more concrete to offer before we say anything more.
I will however see what tidbits I can gather to share. I have a ton of finished art here for example. -------------------- Jon Hodgson

Jon - you are the man!
No, seriously, I appreciate that! I am thrilled about the TOR release, like a small child about Christmas. And I know that I am not the only one. I definitely don't want to lecture you, but you have a group of people here, who are thrilled about your produts and most of us will be able to afford your releases. We are not 14 year old fantasy nerds anymore..... We are 40 year old fantasy nerds! ;-) We want awesome collectors editions, hardcover, high quality maps... So I think, it would be in C7's interest to provide us with a constant flow of information about TOR. Just small breadcrumbs are enough. But to announce a release, make it available for pre-order, then remove the pre-order again, confuses your customers. The info "Winter 2012" is confusing too. Is this now or in a year? You know, Winter is now. But we know nothing about this release. What is this release about? We all want TOR to be succesfull! |

Sorry we've been a little too quiet! I can reassure you that the quietness is because we are working hard on the supplements for TOR and our other game lines, but I'll make a point of dropping by more often
Tales from Wilderland is due Winter 2011/2012 and (printers-willing) should arrive in January. We'll firm up the dates for the screen/laketown book shortly, once we have a fairly reliable estimate for delivery. Thanks for your support, we all really appreciate it! -------------------- Dominic McDowall-Thomas

Hello Dominic,
thank you for your reply. I am happy to hear that the product will be available in January. So the design is finished? Can you give us a little more info about the content? |

Dominic, Jon,
Thank you again for your hard work - we appreciate it very much! Have you considered adding some type of releases page that links together your multiple topics into a single source concerning your future releases? It doesn't have to be much & we understand if you hesitate in stating emphatically that a book is available on this date or that, but at least something concrete that identifies your next year or two of releases with some description (the brief references in the videos, for example, don't give us much to go on). Thank you! |

We're currently putting together an e-newsletter that will bring that information together with news and latest developments. I'll keep you posted on that, but it should be very soon.

By and large Cubicle 7 have a spooky knack for making and distributing top notch games. But there seems to be room for some improvements in the information policy. Otherwise to many fans will fall into despair because of confused anticipation. :-)

For the record, there is a post on this very message board that talks about what Tales from Wilderland is all about.

An e-newsletter is a wonderful idea & I for one will eagerly await your result.
Thank you! |

Any chance of getting a vague statement that Errantries of the King is still intended for a Gencon 2012 release?

With the way the gaming industry moves and the complications that can occur with printers I wouldnt be willing to give any solid dates either.
One thing that I didnt like though was the pdf coming out so far in advance of the paper copy. I think that killed some of the buzz for the game. |

It gives me a bad feeling, that C7 is now starting to search for writers. I really really hope that the sales of TOR are good enough for C7 to focus on THIS game.

I saw it as a good thing. C7 needs to grow if it's to handle popular products with regular releases. -------------------- “There is nothing like looking, if you want to find something. ... You certainly usually find something if you look, but it is not always quite the something you were after."
