I pre-ordered (from the later date option) the hard backs, when I got hold of the pdfs, when can I expect the books to arrive?

Thanks

Angus told me by email (2 days ago) that he expects the books to be received from the printers within the next two weeks for preorders. On that basis hopefully we'll get them before October smile.gif

Heh! 2 weeks from the 12th puts us at the 26th of September at the long side out to get the books from the printer. Then boxing and labeling and then actual transit time. I'm thinking October - maybe early October, but still October.

Hope I'm wrong. Doesn't make too much of a difference for me though. I went with the pre-order and get the PDF option, so I've been able to read the rules and absorb all I can so far. The physical product is just icing on the cake!

Hi everyone

We were expecting the books to show up in the warehouse last week, but it seems there has been some delay (not sure at this stage whether it was a crossing-the-pacific delay or a customs delay). I'm in touch with the shipping agents and will keep you posted on developments.

Sorry about this, it is one part of the process that we cannot directly control, but we will get the books out to you as soon as possible.

Thanks

Dom

How are things being handled for the European deliveries? I'm guessing that they will be a couple of weeks after the North American deliveries, what with having to be shipped across the Pond before being posted out to us?

I don't know but do Cubicle have UK and US warehouses? Just wondering given that US and UK shipping cost the same?

I *think* the US orders ship out of a warehouse in Florida.

The US and Canadian orders are sent from our US warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia, and we're hoping these will be despatched by the end of next week as long as the delivery arrives when the shipper has informed us it should be.

The rest of the world orders are sent from our UK warehouse in Oxford and should be processed the following week (@ 28th with any luck).

Times are dependent on the actual stock arriving by the dates our shippers have told us, but they seem pretty confident so fingers crossed.

Amazon just sent me an email telling me the estimated date for product arrival will be Oct 28th! That's better than the range of dates, Oct - Nov, they were giving me before.

Now I just need to place myself in a coma for a month so I don't have to wait so long! Where did I put that hammer?

Will you be selling the books at Dragonmeet, Angus? It might make spending a dwarf's fortune on air tickets worthwhile tongue.gif

Yes, the books will be on sale at Dragonmeet - we also have OddCon and IndieCon in the UK before then plus Spiele over at Essen in Germany - all of which we should have stock of the game at smile.gif

Well, OddCon might be too soon and IndieCon is on the same week that I am moving house. Essen would be an option, but I had my heart set on Dragonmeet.

Hold a copy for me, Angus? wink.gif

Any chance the books will be updated with the numerous pieces of errata already reported?

Hi,

There hasn't been much errata but we will be putting out a PDF with the details at somepoint in the near(ish) future.

It is too soon to be talking about a reprint of the book as the initial print run hasn't actually arrived in the warehouse yet (it's due any day).

Best wishes,

So I was wondering if there was any new info, I think i'm going to explode waiting for my game to get to me, I haven't felt like this since I was child waiting for christmas I hope I'm not annoying anyone, yes the pdfs are great but I just can't read them for long my eyes hurt and I feel like a baby even saying that out loud. I'm gonna freeze myself like Cartmen did waiting for the Wii.

What errata? I know of only a couple.

I count three pieces of errata - Folk of the Dusk, Dwarven Weapon Proficiency and Journey Recovery. It would be good to get them listed eventually but I am guessing C7 waits to see if there are more given there is so few.

As for clarification, I don't recall any RPG company trawling its forums to collate various discussion into a clarification document. Most of that discussion is due to the normal familiarisation process that you get with any RPG and one of the primary purposes of this forum.
