What kind of terrain features should be applied to Eregion?

In " A Guide to Tolkien", by David Day not much is given on Eregion in the Third Age, other then to say that it is a woodland realm. So, to answer your question I would say primarily forests, rolling hills, and the like.

MERP's Northwestern Gazatteer has it has moorland with lots of holly trees.

And in game terms how should I handle the travel rolls made in Eregion?
