Hey everyone,

Does anyone have any tips regarding information on Forodwaith and the Withered Heath?

I've got the MERP supplement, and I have done some googling and such, but other than that I'm out of ideas...

Many thanks!

I got some white wolves in my extra adversaries list (see sig). They hang out in Forodwaith I believe.

Well, I don't have further information directly, but something that might be useful as well for gaming in that area.
In Other Hands, Issue 24 from January 1999, there is a short essay titled Campaigning in the Northern Waste which deals with natural hazards encountered in such a hostile environment and tips to cope with them in a game set there. It also references MERP's The Northern Waste, which you already mentioned, occasionally in the text.

You can download this Issue of the magazine (and others too of course) from the webpage shown in my signature. If you may have any questions on this - technical or content-related - don't hesitate to ask me smile.gif

Cheers
Tolwen

Let's add that the MMORPG Lord of the Rings Online allows the players to play in Forochel, and I think you can quite easily find informations on what's happening in online.

It's far from canon (the mechanisms of a MMORPG prevents that), but it can gives some inspiration.
