Now that I have the print copy of the product (amazing production value!!) I am wondering if there is a GM Screen in the works. Has this already been discussed? And to beat a dead horse, has any more been said about dice being sold separately?

Ok, sorry. If I would have just read the upcoming releases, I would have seen the answers to my questions.

Those of you who downloaded this before the link was dead:
Could one of you please put it in a dropbox or otherwise upload it so those of us who would really like one can use it while waiting for the official one? Thanks. |

On behalf of Kaltharion, the actual author of that fan designed LM screen, You're Welcome.
I should mention that I do have a message pending to Kaltharion's PM mailbox asking for permission (thus the "removal without notice" comment in my prior message). If anyone knows how to contact him/her outside of these forums, please pass along the request to visit and respond to the PM. Also, do keep in mind that the official TOR LM screen will be released fairly soon. It is the Laketown supplement mentioned. -------------------- Garn!

The Weapons of the Free People table differs somewhat from that on AB p.77 (Spear, Mattock, at first glance). Ditto the Broad-Bladed Sword and Spear under Orc Weapons (LMB, p.70). Is this an error, or errata?

Ovid,
Nice catch, I was not aware that Kaltharion's LM Screen deviated from the RAW. Thanks for pointing out this issue. As for answering your question, I am not aware of any such errata (but I could have missed it). It seems more likely to me that this was changed on purpose to reflect Kaltharion's personal House Rules. For instance, the Mattock changes vaguely remind me of a discussion on Maces here in the forum having to do with how effective certain maces were against shields themselves and shielded opponents. While I cannot recall any of the others, it seems likely they were also modifications. Anyway, that is my guess, as none of us can know for sure unless Kaltharion returns or we find specific mention of it in these forums. Please point out any other differences / errors you should find. This way folks using the screen will be aware of them within their own games and can decide for themselves which set of numbers to use - at least until the official LM Screen is released. Then their should not be as much need for Kaltharion's version. -------------------- Garn!

In the Weapons of the Free Peoples table: Spears can't be used two-handed, so those stats should be ignored. Great Spears can only be used two-handed and have 16 Injury, not 18. Ditto Mattocks, which have 18 Injury, not 20. In the Orc Weapons table: The Broad-Bladed Sword should have a Damage of 5, not 4. The Broad-Headed Spear should have an Injury of 12, not 14. In the Adversaries table: A Great Orc has 48 End, not 43, and it should be 'Hideous Toughness', not 'Hideous Strength'. -------------------- |

Ooops! Just like in those stories of Alice's, the White Rabbit is running very late! I am, of course, referring to myself as the White Rabbit.
In this instance I'm late at removing Kaltharion's GM Screen from circulation. This is per Kaltharion's request to me via PM. When I asked about hosting the file, he (eventually) said yes, but that out of respect to SG/C7 he would like it removed once the official LM Screen is released. So, this weekend is the last chance you have to obtain Kaltharion's GM Screen from me. Late Monday Evening (23:59pm) the file will still be available, however on Tuesday at 00:01am (yep - 2 minutes later), the file will be removed from my file downloads site. Again, the instant Monday turns into Tuesday, POOF! No more screen. Others may have a copy of the file and might be hosting it, but I will comply with the request made to me by the author. So if you meant to download it and forgot, get it now or you'll lose your chance. PS: Would someone with an RPG.NET account please post this message there as well? I don't have an account at that site and that seems to be another major hub of TOR support, and they should also be informed, if possible. -------------------- Garn!
