If a Beorning with Great Strength is in a close combat stance and is attacked by a ranged attack, do he gets to increase his Parry by +3?

As the virtue is described in the book, I don't see why it wouldn't apply to ranged attacks. The only requirements to get the +3 parry are: Fatigue of 12 or less, and fighting in a close combat stance. It also references both strength and nimbleness, so I don't have any problem with allowing the +3 parry to apply to avoiding ranged attacks. John |
