Since I'm in TOR fever (this friday, I will start my campaign with "Don't leave the Path" from "Tales from Wilderland"), I'd like to start speculating on the publication I'm looking forwart to most, the setting book "Heart of the Wild".
What do I expect?
First of all, a detailed description of all the important places in Wilderland that haven't yet been covered in the publication. More on Thranduil's realm, the mountains of Mirkwood, Southern Mirkwood, the Marshes, the High Pass. Also, detailed descriptions of less important places like a sample Woodman village that can easily be adaptet to the current needs of the LM.

Maps!

A good selection of travel hazards for all regions described.

Important NPC, but also a selection of interesting NPC who are not from the book and are not important figures in the setting, so that they can be used flexibly when the need arises (preferrably with stats).

Maybe a kind of realtionship map connecting the most important protagonists of Wilderland?

A bestiary (most important creatures of the shadow have been covered in the basic rules, but stats for dangerous animals like bears or big boars would be useful).

Something on herbs - I don't need additional rules, just some fluff for healers ...

Off the top of my head:

• I would like them to expand on what they did for Laketown and have more /town specific Undertakings.

• I would like some additional benefits for specific s being sanctuaries (unique to that ).

• Dol. Guldur.

I'm quite sure that the "Release schedule 2012" post has been edited and that the entry for The Heart of the Wild wasn't there before...

It has been there for about a month, I think ... I hope this means that the book is actually quite close to publication!
