My character is investing his treasure/standing in opening an inn in Dale.
He's a Beorning, known for being exceedingly jolly (has Merry as a feature) and telling tales (high Song skill and Storyteller.) The inn is...for lack of a better term...a theme restaurant for the Battle of Five Armies (of which he's a veteran) and was built to give all the free peoples a comfortable place to come together. The only other thing of note is that it's got a dragon's head over the hearth (a small one, but stilll, something to be proud of). The dragon's name was Adlestine...so of course the biggest mug of ale you can order comes in the Adle-stein. Anyway...I'm having trouble coming up with a name. |

Bit of an obvious one, but what about "The Dragon's Head"?
-------------------- 'Tall ships and tall kings
Three times three, What brought they from the foundered land Over the flowing sea? Seven stars and seven stones And one white tree.' |

I love coming up with tavern names. Here are a few ideas.
The Merry Dragon The Bear and Dragon The Drunken Dragon The Singing Dragon I actually can't think of any around the Battle of the five armies. Hmmm. As a side note: Is your character an ex resident of Laketown? As they were the the only men present at the Bo5a (+ Beorn) Was he inspired by the skinchanger at the battle and left his home to become a beorning? -------------------- |

The Eagle and Child
It can't be THAT hard to link such a name to the Battle of Five Armies. If you don't recognize the reference, see the following link: The Eagle and Child |

A few quick ideas for your inn:
Drake's End (close to Garn's 'Dead Drake', but worthy of seperate mention IMHO) Heroes' Rest The Dragon's Mug (referring not only to the large "adle-stein" but also slang for the drake's head on the wall, and prob on the sign out front?) Tales & Toasts! The Bear's Share Fellowship Inn The Battling Bear Let us know what you end up calling it. -------------------- 'life wasn't meant to be easy ... it was meant to be cheesy!'
