I just got the first of a few shipments - The One Ring boxed set and the dice :-) It feels like the day I got my D&D Beginner's boxed set all those years ago. I'm hoping to see Tales from Wilderland and The Loremaster's Screen and Lake-town Sourcebook shortly.
Is anyone maintaining a player registry? The local hobby shop here in Denver I used to visit is no more so I'm wondering if this is the forum used to find players or some other online resource? Finally, anyone playing this online? I can see how this would do well in an online environment and I maintain my host and virtual server space that can host supporting software - things like a a chat room and message board. I'd prefer face-to-face but sometimes you can't swing that. If anyone has posted some experience about playing this online I'd like to read up that. Thanks - hope to running a campaign soon! |

Yeah, it seems a lot of the Denver stores have closed, Attactix, Valhalla
You may try Bonnie Brea in Englewood or Stonebridge Games in Longmont or. Other that that you'd probably have to go all the way to Springs, where there are several, Boulder, or to Pueblo (Where I am). As for online, not sure. Though if you're interested in running as opposed to playing(since I'm the only one I know on the site looking at the game and I'm strictly doing IRL right now) you may try http://www.Infrno.net. or http://nearbygamers.com/, or http://www.reddit.com/r/rpg/, http://www.penandpapergames.com/, http://www.rpggateway.com/ -------------------- I'm no Jon Hodgson, but I'm available for commissions! Visit My DeviantArt for examples and prices.

Thanks for the suggestions. Central Denver has lost, I think, all gaming stores with the few exceptions of places that carry RPGs almost as an afterthought.
I'm familiar with some of the sites you list below - we tried a few when we had an online component to our face-to-face D&D 3.0/5 campaigns. But the player registries are nice - thanks for the links. |
