I had a look at your men of rohan (even though I don't speak spanish) to see if I could work anything out... I worked out what weapons you gave them and the starting skills
Any chance of an English version? I'd love to see how your views differed from my own -------------------- |

A simple translation into English of the first page of material. Of course, the accuracy suffers as nothing translated from one language to another is ever 100% correct in terms or meaning.
Men-Of Rohan "I have been among them," said Aragorn. They are proud and stubborn, but honest-hearted, generous in thought and actions, bold but not cruel; wise, but soon learned, do not write books but singing many songs like those sung by the children of Men before the Dark Years . " The men of Rohan are the people who migrated to Calenardhon in hand with Eorl the Young. Previously known as the Éothéod, had lived in the valleys of Anduin, first between the Carrock and the Gladden Fields and then in the high valleys, and were a remnant of a larger town: Northmen. Under the help given to the kingdom of Gondor after the Battle of the Field of Celebrant, the Steward Cirion land granted them Calenardhon, to dwell therein, forming the Kingdom of Rohan. Rohirrim, "Lords of the Horses" is the name in Sindarin with the men of Gondor known to the inhabitants of Rohan. They themselves call themselves Eorlingas, "Sons of Eorl" and their enemies, the Dunlendings forgoil* call them, "Head of Straw." The Rohirrim live in small villages scattered throughout the country and were devoted primarily to raising horses, besides to other rural activities. Their horses are considered the best of all Middle-earth and even the black horses of the Black Riders of Rohan had been stolen. Highlights of including mearas or "princes of the Horses", which are faster, strong, tough, smart and common-lived than horses, reaching as much as men live. Fearsome are Éoreds (squadrons) of cavalry, who are thrown into battle with fierce chants rhymed. High wield spears and shields painted ash hanging from his back. They look shiny breastplates that cover mesh knee and on their belts carrying long swords, weapons and armor them from Gondor, for the most skill and experience of its blacksmiths. *forgoil: This word did not translate and might be either a typo, unknown word, slang, etc. -------------------- Garn!
I have yet to read the books thoroughly. |

Mr. Google says that "Forgoil" is what Dunledings called Rohirrim (Strawheads). Thanks for the effort!

I have just started working on Dunlending stats and background for some new enemies in TOR. My problem is that all of my books are currently in storage. Would it be possible or someone to post the entire line from LotR about Forgoil and Strawheads?
I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks. |

“Lord Of The Rings - Part 2 - The Two Towers” By J R R Tolkien
Aragorn looked at the pale stars, and at the moon, now sloping behind the western hills that enclosed the valley. 'This is a night as long as years,' he said. 'How long will the day tarry?' 'Dawn is not far off,' said Gamling, who had now climbed up beside him. 'But dawn will not help us, I fear.' 'Yet dawn is ever the hope of men,' said Aragorn. 'But these creatures of Isengard, these half-orcs and goblin-men that the foul craft of Saruman has bred, they will not quail at the sun,' said Gamling. 'And neither will the wild men of the hills. Do you not hear their voices?' 'I hear them,' said Eomer; 'but they are only the scream of birds and the bellowing of beasts to my ears.' 'Yet there are many that cry in the Dunland tongue,' said Gamling. 'I know that tongue. It is an ancient speech of men, and once was spoken in many western valleys of the Mark. Hark! They hate us, and they are glad; for our doom seems certain to them. 'The king, the king!' they cry. 'We will take their king. Death to the Forgoil! Death to the Strawheads! Death to the robbers of the North!' Such names they have for us. Not in half a thousand years have they forgotten their grievance that the lords of Gondor gave the Mark to Eorl the Young and made alliance with him. That old hatred Saruman has inflamed. They are fierce folk when roused. They will not give way now for dusk or dawn, until Theoden is taken, or they themselves are slain.' 'Nonetheless day will bring hope to me,' said Aragorn. 'Is it not said that no foe has ever taken the Hornburg, if men defended it?' 'So the minstrels say,' said Eomer. 'Then let us defend it, and hope!' said Aragorn. -------------------- Cheers,
