Hi guys!

Is there anyone out there who has some great Tokens that you can use to make combat easier, and travelling and so on? And would like to share them?

Or maybe I have to make them myself.

There are stickied links here to various resources, including voidstate's travel mat and battle board.

You can also search the forum for some printable cards for Combat Stances.

Something like this.

Miniatures. Or use the Paizo ones. Truth be told, much as I love minis, there's not a great need for them in the game, you know. Given how few "monsters" there are in TOR (and how essentially generic they are), using the D&D tokens or prepainted minis, or Paizo tokens is cheap and quick if you're inclined. Orc, goblin, spider - pretty common.

True, but when you meet 3 archers, 2 snagas, 8 black orcs and 2 mountain trolls its kinda good to have some tokens that you can present and to mark their status, befor it gets all to confusing.

In larger battles like that, what I use is my painted plastic minis I bought from Wizards of the Coast years ago - i have many many many orcs/goblins and spiders, as well as trolls, wolves/wargs and just about everything else.

A piece of scotch tape on the bottom attaches it to a square of paper to write status/endurance and simply place the mini in front of the player that it is engaging with. Alternatively, you we can put the mini w/paper onto the mat that shows the stances etc to pair it off to the mini the player is using and standing in his stance bubble on that mat.

Finally - check Paizo.com for Paper Minis that they sell. They're pretty cheap - i think they come as a PDF and you can print them out, stand them up and go that route.

I have a set of card tokens I made myself using Word and a printer.

Insert table.
Size the cells of the table to be 2.5 cm by 2.5cm
Insert symbols from symbols menu. Have several of each symbol but different colours.
Under each symbol insert a small arrow.

Symbols identify opponents of same type "squares are goblin archers, the stars are goblins with spears"
The arrow shows the front.

Made some with player's initial on for their characters.

Used them for all sorts of fantasy, western and Star Wars games and they don't cost a lot to replace when tatty or some twit spills pop on them. Although not needed them for One Ring.

Chuckling. Been a long time since I heard someone reference a soda as pop.

We say "pop" all the time in the Midwest States for soda, especially in Chicago. lol
