Hi!
I was wondering how people handle the benefits of sanctuaries and patrons in their games, especially in terms of rules. As far as I can remember, sanctuaries only have 2 specific advantages: you can roll twice to reduce your Shadow, and you can rest and lower your Fatigue. And with Patrons, it's even less precise. The section on Radagast suggests some enchantments, so I thought about developing that idea and giving the adventurers specific boni etc. according to patrons. What are your thoughts on this? And have I missed anything mentioned in the books? Thanks! |

The idea of creating specific benefits of a patron has kicked around here a bit and ideas have been shared. The reason i'm sure none were specifically spelled out by the developers was so that it didnt limit or pigeon hole the possibilities that creative LMs and players could propose.
One of the biggest advantages i see for a patron is someone who the players get quests from or whom they can trust to go to for looking into more info on mysteries theyre unravelling. Like deckard cain is for diablo. -------------------- Robert
