Will you be selling this separately like what you did with Doctor Who (which is an awesome game, btw)?

This is a good idea for players, but also because it could potentially come closer to the $10 range that I'll pay to check out a game so might get some more people in.

I hadn't thought if it that way, but that would be a great idea. Simply offering the AB for $10 would lower the hurdle for entry into the game quite significantly in my opinion. I know for my group I plan on running at least a one-shot for them on a night one of the GMs need a break. I think several would buy the AB if it was only $10, whereas now it will likely be just me and another highly motivated player that purchase the books. -------------------- |

When we were playing "Trail of Cthuluh," the player's pdf was a great asset.
Seeing how my players love to buy things, but would not invest in the full price of this box set just for the dice and players book, I was going to let them know about any pdf products out there for it (and it will keep them from all wanting to borrow the player's book at once Or if you want to release the player book separately, that would be coolio too! |

I hope people don't think I am necroing this, but it was something I had been thinking about. I just bought the box, and love it. I would like to get our group to try out the game. I want the others in our group to have the adventurer's book but not the loremaster's book. Another copy of the players map would be awesome too.

I would like to see the print version available too. I can't expect my players to buy the set just for the Adventurer's book. Plus, I would like to purchase the maps separately as well. Folding and unfolding them for every game is going to put wear and tear on them and I would rather just switch to another game system than have to buy the set repeatedly.

Try laminating them. That's what I've done ... roll 'em up and stick them in a mailing tube for safekeeping. Too, you can use china, dry-erase and/or wet-erase markers on them for player-hero travel purposes, notes, etc. And, what with the color varieties available, you can color-code these entries. -------------------- My TOR Resources:

If you have a Costco nearby, they print 20in x 30in posters for $9.99.
Yup. $10/map, baby, awws yeah. At that price, you can cheerfully let your group make notes, etc on it without freaking out. |

OfficeMax did mine ... and I got them done for ~$4.50 each ... it was a 25% off sale, but still better than $10 at regular price. Of course, it depends on who rings you up, too. They're supposed to charge $2 per foot on roll lamination. At that cost, the maps should be ~$6. I've gone there before and had one guy try to charge me $13.50 for a poster map! "Uh, no! I used to work here, buddy! Lemme show you the right bar code to scan. <Sigh>" -------------------- My TOR Resources:

Years ago I printed this WFRP map on cloth. Players loved it.
It was just A4 size, but maybe they can make larger sizes too... |
