Pop-ups On Cubicle 7 Site, Why Are They Popping Up All of a Sudden?

If you're talking about something else, you might want to clarify by providing an example. But then again, I run kinda locked-down and opted-out. So looking at the exact same page we might be seeing substantially different things. (Of course, I pay for that by having to reload pages frequently to get them to work.) -------------------- Garn! This isn't a new thing, however. Group: Members Posts: 295 Member No.: 2128 Joined: 9-November 11	No, I've always gotten the individual highlighted words ... that's a factor of being related (somehow) to Google (I believe Cubicle 7's search function ... which doesn't actually function, btw ... is Google based). To clarify ... yesterday, for about an hour, every time I navigated to page 1 of the TOR forum, I received a warning from Norton that it had blocked a popup ... I was asked if I wanted to allow it, or edit my blocking preferences ... the standard message I get from Norton concerning popups ... I block them all. I have no idea to what the popups were related as I NEVER navigate to anything a popup window advertises ... too many years in IT Tech Support to fall for that simple trick. The popups stopped coming up, as I said, about an hour or so after I started getting them and I haven't seen them since. I thought someone from Cublicle 7's side (their own network people or whomever hosts their site) had fixed the issue ... I'm thinking the site was under a malicious attack. So 'no account brother of mine' could lead to a certified public accountant advert. I don't seem them. -------------------- Garn! I have yet to read the books thoroughly.
