That corresponds to my post on "The One Ring Released!" thread. I'll move it to here since you made the thread.

Does anyone know when the game shipped out to those who bought the priority edition pre-orders? I'm trying to manage my expectations of when to expect a lovely present in my mailbox. :-)

I live in Brooklyn, NY, in case the U.S. shipment dates differed from the U.K. and Europe.

The vast majority of the US and Canadian orders were despatched on Wednesday so should start touching down with US continental addresses this weekend or early next week I hope.

There was a smaller batch (maybe 4 or 5 copies) that were being sent out today which were from orders that came through towards the end of the offering or had payment delays.

I've got specific tracking details in the office for Wednesdays despatches but am probably not in the office until Monday now (sorry).

Any word on the Rest of the World books? Still inbound to arrive in the UK next week?

Hope so. They were due to arrive at the New York Freight Forwarders today and they have all the paperwork to ship them over. Won't know until Monday whether they're actually en route though (and they'll be arriving with us on Tuesday/Wednesday if they are).

I'll update everyone here as soon as I know though.

Darn, I ordered mine on like July 26th... I'm probably one of those 4 or 5...

Oh well, at least I have the pdfs. That should keep me happy in the meantime.

Thanks for all the info and great communication, Angus. You're awesome!

Hey, sorry, getting a bit confused. Where does the UK fit in with shipping? I keep seeming to miss that bit of info.

Thanks Angus, you are doing a fantastic job!

All 175 advanced preorders first get shipped to the US. The US/Canada orders get sent from there and did on Wednesday. The Rest of the World orders get shipped from the US to the UK and are them sent from there.

Yes, this means that Rest of the World will get a week or more after the US/Canada ones.

At this time, the Rest of the World orders have just arrived in the UK and should be in the UK warehouse early next week for shipping.

Ah, ok - that makes sense. I'm just flummoxed that UK being the "home" country for all things Tolkien, plus for all companies involved with the game itself, that the UK is grouped with the rest of the world and US gets it before us lol (again). I want my tea back!

It's not as weird as having your book have to traverse half way across the world to have to traverse twice that distance to get back to you smile.gif I live in New Zealand.

Lol, yes, that is definitely weird. So are you anywhere near where they are filming the Hobbit and if so have you had a chance to go down to the set - or at least as far as the public is allowed.

Look forward to seeing the book smile.gif

Yep. I haven't been to set as you can't see anything, but they film nearby.

So what's the status of the Europe Shipment? Is it airborne? Has it arrived in the UK? Do we know?

Hey Angus, would it be possible to inform those 4 or 5 people whose orders got shipped out later than the rest who they are, just so they're aware they'll have a longer wait? I have a pretty strong feeling I'm one of them...

Hi, Angus.

Any chance we could get those specific tracking details? Were they sent UPS or USPS?

Thanks again for all your efforts.

Has anyone received their box yet? I only have the PDFs and I've got players coming over tomorrow for character creation. We're supposed to play the starting adventure Friday night, but I'm afraid I'm not going to have the actual maps or dice by then. I know I can do without them, but it sure would be nice to have everything.

How were the games shipped? USPS, UPS? How can I get tracking info?

From my experiences, wait until Tuesday for courier/post items. Mondays are generally bad if a package is in transit over the weekend.

I just got mine today! I was not expecting it so early and I'm knee deep in a WFRP 3rd game so I haven't had a chance to actually read through it.

It looks beautiful though and the maps are sweet, I can't wait to play it!

They are paperbacks but have a nice heft to them. The artwork is different but mostly of high quality. ( for me anyway) I printed out th pre-gens and hope to play in the next couple weeks.

Very happy!

Good luck guys, I hope you get yours soon across the pond.

Yes, just at odd hours living on in ME down under, which makes it seem to US forumites as if I never sleep smile.gif

Sorry, was caught up in making sure family and friends were ok in London all late afternoon/evening yesterday as violence was flaring all the over the place including where two of my sisters, my mother, my ex and another very close friend were. As such i wasn't on the forums (combined with my home PC deciding to break).

I've not heard anything from the couriers as yet but am ringing them shortly for an update. Some things have been disrupted around London (for obvious reaosns) but it shouldn't delay the shipment to us as things stand.

I'm in South Florida so since, I think, the shipments left from Atlanta, I was pretty close to the origin point. I was shocked when it came, and when the mailman came with this large box I had know idea what it could be laugh.gif ( In my mind, I was convinced I wouldn't see it until Friday later this week or even next week)

Anyways, when I opened it, I was pleasently surprised. I've read a little of it and it has a real distinctive Tolkien flavor. I hope the game plays well but like I said I have some other commitments so I will have to wait a couple of weeks.

I'm sure you guys in the states will get them very soon, I can't say about the UK though. I've heard patience is a virtue over there so I'm confident you will be fine. tongue.gif ( Just finished a course on Victorian Era literature wink.gif )

Hi all,

I spoke to our freight forwarders and the shipment missed last Fridays pick-up so should be on the midweek freight which means we should receive it here on Friday. I'm going to see if I can juggle my weekend plans so I can pack all the copies up for despatch on Monday (which means UK customers should start receiving them Tuesday/Wednesady as they're going out by 1st Class post; European customers during the week and Rest of the World customers the following weekend and early into that following week).

I'm sorry for the delay. We knew it would be tight when the air freight finally reached our US warehouse, and it seems it did just miss the plane.

We'll get them turned around as soon as they arrive and I'll see if I can throw a little extra something too.

Take care,

Thanks for the information.

Looking forwards to the 'precious' arriving in the UK.

And to the mysterious 'extra'!

Thanks for the update Angus! Look forward to seeing it soon smile.gif

In light of what is happening in our country, I think people should just chill and expect delays unfortunately. Everyone stay safe!

Okay. Good update. Thank you.
I'll re-focus and try to hold on until end of next week.
