If that "little" extra is a Hobbit or something similar, I want one too! |

Nothing from the mailman today in NYC. I'm dying over here in the wilderness all alone.

Mine is sitting in Florida right now according to the tracking. Hopefully it won't be much longer.

Try emailing C7. You are more likely to get results than posting here, methinks. -------------------- “There is nothing like looking, if you want to find something. ... You certainly usually find something if you look, but it is not always quite the something you were after."

Well... you're not digging into Europe's Fellowship. I guess you're going to have to borrow some from China... you're good at that. /wolf -------------------- "Pain, as the billing vouchsafes, is painful..."

The books are coming in from the printers in China. The little extras -- if hobbits -- are presumably coming from New Zealand. Peter Jackson IS using little extras in the filming of the Shire sequences of The Hobbit, I presume...? |

Actually, if the 'little extra' is a hobbit, in think I'll pass.
They eat a lot and get a bit whiny if left alone! But if you have a spare Liv Tyler I'll settle for her |

Well, if they manage to get them on the way Monday, I would suspect we'll see them mid-week(ish) here in Scandinavia. My experience in ordering from the UK has been usually pretty good, arriving generally within three days of being posted in the UK. |

My copy arrived late yesterday here in NYC! It would've arrived a day sooner had the wonderful US Post Office in Brooklyn done the job they get paid to do, which is to deliver mail. It sat in their truck the whole day on Wednesday, at the end of the day they updated the tracking to say they made a delivery attempt. Needless to say they did no such thing. I swear NYC has the worst postal service in the country.
But, happy ending! Now, I must read, read, read and put together a campaign. I can't wait for new supplements! I feel like a kid again. |

Update time, I hadn't forgotten you, just been waiting for full confirmation.
The One Ring Priority Shipment has arrived in the UK and is now en route to our Oxford office. They are due to arrive here on Monday and I'll have all the paperwork ready to start packing up boxes and getting as many as I can in the post by Mondays mail collection - so it's entirely possible that some UK customers will start receiving their Priority copies on Tuesday May have to go and have an evening drink in The Eagle & Child (Tolkiens old drinking hole here in Oxford) after I've packed the last of the priority shipments next week Take care and have a good weekend, -------------------- Angus Abranson

Surely they should have renamed it the 'Eagle and Hobbit' in honour of JRR. And thanks for the information about the shipment. |

Now that the pre-orders are getting sorted out, is there any projection for when retailers will be receiving their copies?

Retailers in Germany said the copies will arrive at the 19. or 20. this month. Maybe they lie... but hope never dies ^^ |

Given that would just 1 week before the advanced preorders are received, I would be surprised if that date was correct. -------------------- “There is nothing like looking, if you want to find something. ... I still have not received my copy in Arizona I keep checking the mail box and am getting worried. I hope nothing happened to it. I see that San Diego and NYC got delivered. Was mine ordered too late? Please, HELP with information!!!
I am still grateful I got the PDFs on Friday, August 4th, so that we could make characters and play, but it would be nice to have the physical product BEFORE it hits stores. How can I figure out what's going on? I emailed, but I haven't heard back. -------------------- Please visit my blog, Advancement Points: The One Ring Files, for my TOR Resources

Did you advanced preorder or preorder? How close to the release date did you advance preorder? Also, I am pretty sure the books won't hit stores until mid September. -------------------- “There is nothing like looking, if you want to find something. ... So Angus... I hope you are packing parcels like a maniac and don't waste time at the forums.... So I'll take any Non-response here as a good sign.
Maybe one of your minions can give us an update during a coffee break or something? /wolf -------------------- "Pain, as the billing vouchsafes, is painful..."

I have gamers-night coming up on Thursday... would be awesome to have the game by then, but I think it will be tight, so realistically I'm happy if I have it on Friday.

Hi all,
The shipment has arrived in the UK warehouse and packing has commenced. Don't know how many will go out today (the delivery arrived about 3.30pm so fairly late) but all the Rest of the World priority orders will certainly be despatched by tomorrow. Take care, -------------------- Angus Abranson
