...or rather, I would have if the mailman would have carried it. Now is at the post station. That only opens until 14:30 during august. And as I work until 15:00.... well....

sad.gif

What country do you live in? I work for the UK post office and The One Ring is well within the size and weight that we carry.

I'm from Spain. And sometimes they bring the packages up here, so I highly suspect that it has much to do with who is on duty that day (namely, I hugely suspect there is one lazy ass mailman and one that actually does his work there happy.gif).

Anyways, I'll have to wait until saturday to pick it up, I guess sad.gif

There are lazy ass mailmen all over the world! But not all of us are lazy!

In New Zealand, they do deliver to your door, but if you are not in then they won't leave packages on the doorstep and instead take them to the depot. Are you sure that didn't happen here?

If so, it may be a good thing that TOR wasn't sitting in you post box, sticking out for all to see, until you came home. smile.gif

Quite sure, unfortunately. The house was never empty, and they knew I was expecting mail so they were on the lookout for the doorbell tongue.gif.

Ah, well, it's not a big deal. I'll just get it next saturday happy.gif

My colleagues told me that I didn't get my copy yet. I am living in Germany but I am not in the country at the moment. I placed my order on the first pre-order day. Even if I am not there, I would feel better if I would know that my copy is waiting for me on my office desk.

Skywalker will get his once-around-the-globe copy faster than me. But this is the moment to thank you Skywalker, for giving us all the cool info on TOR during the pre-order phase. You were my source for info and shortened my PDF waiting time. So it's ok if you get your copy faster than me. Sort of... wink.gif

I suspect that the delay of my shipment has something to do with the last soccer world cup UK - Germany game.... wink.gif

Royal Mail is especially good for Commonwealth countries like Australia and New Zealand. At least there is some point to the old allegiances with the UK smile.gif

Nice. This thing will so sell once it gets on shelves. It looks amazing.

Word. I just got it about an hour ago and it looks absolutely beautiful. The only thing that is a bit of a down is that the dice "drawer" seemed a bit sturdier, but that's the absolutely worse I can say about the whole package. It even arrived intact biggrin.gif
