The 'Raising Standard of Living' undertaking is something you can only do at home, during a Fellowship Phase and it's very temporary. Other than flavour, what's the point?
It doesn't apply during an Adventuring Phase, so it doesn't change what the characters can do per AB109-110, and it's not keyed into gaining Standing (actually the opposite - it directly detracts from that). Any ideas? -------------------- |

I would assume this undertaking is of greater benefit to Frugal or Martial cultures, as it would allow the player to purchase things in character they could not normally purchase, horses for instance. Of course, the abstract aspect of the currency in TOR is mildly problematic in that regard.

Yeah, it 's an awkward combination of really specific (x months) and really abstract. I'm thinking of dumping the home requirement and instead allowing players to buy temporary Standing in any culture: one Treasure point to get 1 Standing in a foreign culture for a Season, or two to get Standing 2. -------------------- |
