If you try to Heal Corruption in a Sanctuary, you roll twice keeping the best roll, or keeping both?

Is there any other difference between a safe (like Dale) and one made Sanctuary?

If the characters are in a Sanctuary, they roll twice. These are separate rolls, so the results of both rolls are used to Heal Corruption. If they return home, they only get one roll. If they are at neither home nor Sanctuary, they can't Heal Corruption.

A Sanctuary has to be established. The safe s on the map are potential sanctuaries but the characters start the game with only Esgaroth as an actual Sanctuary. They will have to spend a Fellowship Phase to establish another as a Sanctuary before they can use it to Heal Corruption.

Ok, thank you!

I think there's also an assumption that you are always welcome in a sanctuary. There's no need to roleplay gaining access - basically the GM isn't going to throw difficulties in your way after you spend weeks travelling there.
