About Eowyn,
Does anyone know what her alias Dernhelm means?

She was kown as dernhelm because of her exclaimation when she realized that the rider's headgear was heavy and obscured her sight.

'Dern Helm"

Culled from Entmoot From Kirinski 57 and Wayfarer.

I think that the traits can be used with any skill? It's more a matter of player narrative description and the GM agreeing with it rather than anytihng else, surely?

I think your list is fine so far, but I could see people using "Bold" for Inspire, for example, or "Honourable" for Courtesy or many other differing circumstances

The goal of the list was not to pigeonhole the traits with set skills per se, but to provide some examples and have others give more of them to give an idea how some traits could be used. My list is missing several traits, but again it is written in hopes that others will give examples of many other skill trait uses.

So for example could you provide us with some of the ways you

Sorry, I missed this before. Sure I'll have a go...

The characters are trapped in Goblin tunnels, they have lost a lot of hope, some of them may be miserable. As the goblins close in, one of the PCs attacks, shouting for the others to get up and get moving...he tries to Inspire them and/or the NPCs, and cites his "Bold" trait either for a success, or an AP after the roll...

A PC is fighting a duel versus a noble opponent. At one point the opponent is disarmed. The PC decides to use Courtesy for a gracious remark and to allow the opponent to retrieve his sword, citing "Honourable". The courtesy success means that the opponent will now have a higher respect for the PC...

Just off the top of my head, mind you.
