Hey, all.
I fear that this has been addressed before, but I am unable to search the forum to find out. Anyway ... Does anyone have any suggestions regarding rules for "sneak attacks?" In the last session, one of my players had her hobbit sneak up on an unsuspecting orc guard and stab him without warning. After a successful Stealth test, I allowed her to make a short sword attack and treated it as if she had "aimed" with her melee attack, i.e., made it an automatic Piercing blow if she hit. [She did hit, btw, but the orc made its Protection test, so no insta-kill.] Does this sound right, or has someone else addressed this issue in another way? I see it coming up a lot in the coming months, as said hobbit has just taken the Art of Disappearing virtue. Thanks for any help. O |
