Can anyone shed light on when TfW will get to Australian destinations?
For that matter - will it ship from US or UK warehouse?
(I want a pristine copy - so maybe UK is worth waiting for??)

We get the shortest end of the stick as it gets shipped from the UK warehouse. blink.gif

Our books go from China to US to UK to Australia/NZ biggrin.gif

I still didn' t get my book in Germany, any guess when it should arrive?

As said above, non-US orders take a couple of weeks more for C7 as they ship those orders to a UK warehouse first.

Sorry to all those whose packaging wasn't up to scratch, that is expressly against the instructions I have given to our US fulfilment people. I will be raising this with them ASAP - it's something I feel very strongly about.

Thanks, Dom. I didn't think this was C7's doing.

It is an otherwise beautiful book, which makes the dings all the more aggrivating.

My copy arrived today in Sacramento, CA.

There was packing paper in the box, but only on top of the book; the book's back was up against the box.

I guess that's better than nothing.

Not yet Steff. They're on their way to the UK/Europe from the US, where they landed first.

Thanks for that info Skywalker .... but dagnabbit! Such a circuitous route - if only there was a C7 warehouse in Asia-Pacific region (preferably Australia - of course!)
Oh well ... one positive to come from this is finding a fellow Australian TOR enthusiast (if I understand correctly?) I'm sure there are plenty of Aussies who are playing TOR, but I just can't find them - other than the few gamers to whom I've introduced the game.
Now - if I was to learn that we're in the same city and you're looking for another player/LM, well that would be just dandy.... (check PM) smile.gif

Most other RPG companies send out the Asia/Pacific orders from the US, with only European orders from the UK. But given C7 is based in the UK, I assume that is why it is done this way.

But yeah, its pretty crazy smile.gif

And sorry, but I am a Kiwi. smile.gif

Preorders are sent out first. It is then two to three weeks or so for gaming stores in the US i.e. late September.

Add more for overseas gaming stores and non-gaming stores like Amazon.

My guess for Amazon would be early October.

Its not in stock with C7 yet. When it is shipping is normally up to 2 weeks worldwide.

My Amazon order says it's shipped but the delivery time is 2nd October or 3rd, don't remember exactly now. Also the Laketown is %34 cheaper on Amazon it's on sale.

Hopefully (and no promises made) we can update everyone tomorrow about European orders. And those which are despatched from Europe. Just waiting on a confirmation of a thing.

If it helps you wait for your FLGS to get it in....

Street date, according to my distributor, is Sept. 5th. I hope to have it on my shelf for sale that day.

Also, I received my personal pre-order from Cubicle on August 29th. Looks great!

Good news! Alliance shows that they have it in. In all but the west coast warehouse. I already asked my game store to order me a copy. Should have it next week. Should be just in time for my next session. If anybody shows up that is, sigh.

As you will have gathered from prior posts Tales from Wilderland is in the UK warehouse, and shipping out to preorder customers in the UK and further afield.

Estimated delivery times to Australia and New Zealand... are extremely hard to give. But it will be en route to you in the next couple of days.

Street date for general release in the US is 5th September. UK date date to be confirmed, but it won't be far different.

Great to see the hard copy finally getting out there for people to buy and enjoy, Jon!

It really is one of the best collections of scenarios for any RPG that I've read - I'm hard pushed to think of another off hand.

Well Garbar - I have some hats and I do collect corks from time to time .... but I'm yet to tether the latter to the former .... though I may need to if I go walkabout in the Outback and the blowies distract me from sinkin' some tinnies!
I do eat kiwi fruit however - yet that doesn't qualify me as a NZer (if only it did - then I could get a job as a Peter Jackson extra), and though I don't whinge about the weather I do boast about it all the time! cool.gif

Having pre-ordered it from C7 I'm going to be a bit annoyed if regular distribution customers can get theirs first. It'll certainly stop me from pre-ording anything from C7 again.

Leisure Games tend to get stock Wednesday and dispatch same or next day, so they won't be shipping anything until then.

Yeah, I'd expect that if I ordered it from LG then I'd get it this Friday (7th) or maybe Thursday (if incredibly lucky), assuming I lived in mainland UK.

Just arrived this morning in sunny Fife, Scotland and all well. Now to find some players that are interested in playing...

Cheers,

I didn't get any confirmation yet that my copy is on its way ... seems strange, because it should ship from the UK, as I live in Germany. I know that it still takes a while to get from the UK to Germany, but why hasn't it shipped yet?

The (Great) Eagle has landed. Repeat: the (Great) Eagle has landed.

My copy made it over from the despatcher in Maldon, Essex, England, this AM.
Cunningly unwasteful cardboard packaging. Book in perfect condition: beautiful glossy cover with not a scratch or a fingerprint on it.
