My group will soon come to Esgaroth. I kindly wanted to ask you fine fellow Loremasters if you have some ideas about things which could be done in Esgaroth and what kind of things could happen to the characters during their stay.

Have you considered to buy Loremaster's Screen & Lake-town Sourcebook? The sourcebook is totally useful when travelling to Esgaroth. Really.

I own it. And I have of course my main-plot. But I was hoping for some inspiration to some more ideas for mini-adventures. My group will arrive in the middle of November, so the day of the black arrow already passed.

I don't have the Laketown supplement, so forgive me if this already exists. The other day I thought a neat little side quest for Esgaroth would be to have the water around Smaug's bones begin to boil, and upon further investigation, the party would find out that a rather rubbish wannabe sourceror was living in the bones/in a cave/in the woods and trying to scare people. As you can tell it isn't a very fleshed out idea, but I thought it would be kinda fun
