howdy y'all

I'm looking for tip/tricks/instructions on how to run a session.

Its the nitty-gritty I'm looking for.
- how do you encourage players to describe actions to get advancement points.
- roll before description or after?
- do you give exact target numbers to players, or hint at it via descriptions?

also really confusing - what is the roll for a fatigue test?

that sort of thing...

(page references to advice in the books work as well)

Someone created some nice Trait cards. They are very useful in reminding players about their strengths.

It depends. If you want to get an automatic success, of course it's before. Otherwise, I'm perfectly ok with after if you want an advancement point.

I very rarely give TNs different from the default level (TN 14). If you play with this premise in mind (change TN only when absolutely necessary) the game is going to be very smooth, as players won't ask and just roll and tell their result.

Travel (with Heart as possible Attribute bonus).
