One of the things I'm enjoying greatly about this game, is that it is as fresh a start as could be for such a project. Seeing all the new art and re-imaginings of creatures is making me a happy monkey.
As for the faces on spiders, it is something I thought could have been applied to Shelob as I was reading the book for the first time. It's made clear that she looks like a spider, rather than is one. So deviations from spiders apart from size seem perfectly applicable. |

I don't suppose you know what software Jon uses? I'm an Illustrator junkie myself but his program looks interesting...

The program Jon uses the most... wait, I am Jon using this account... the program I use the most in these videos is ArtRage, from Ambient Design. There's some Photoshop in there too at the start and end of the processes, but mostly it's Artrage. http://www.artrage.com/ |
