Hi, I apologize if this has been answered somewhere else, but my google-fu is weak.
What constitutes a "servant of the Shadow" in relation to the Cultural Virtue - Shadow Bane? Is it any ork, troll and similar encountered, or just creatures that directly serve Sauron? If the first, isn't this a little powerful? If tha later, isn't this a bit too weak? Thanks in advance Baragos |

I'd say anything that is an obvious baddie. i.e anything in the adversaries section of the Loremaster's book (plus anything in my list of adversaries ). Not Belran the Blowhard whose had too much to drink and challanges the PC to fistycuffs, nor perhaps Gerin the Bandit who has fallen on hard times but is not truely evil. Nor the grizzly bear that wants them out its cave.

Baragos, Poosticks nailed it, but I like the phrasing by InfinityDoctor in the thread Quesions About Virtues And Social Encounter:
[S?]He explains it in clear, distinct terms that can be applied to official and custom game material without having to alter anything. PS: The quote above is the only relevant material for this subject. -------------------- Garn!
I have yet to read the books thoroughly. |
