This came up in our last game. What skill would you suggest for riding horses?

It would depend on what you were looking to do whilst mounted. Travel long distances - Travel. Jumps - Athletics. Combat - Battle. Survival would be useful for general animal empathy.

I concur with young Skywalker here. The purpous of the roll should define.
Is this Hunting a Boar, using Long Spears from Horseback? Is this a Race to win a trophy on a flat Horse Track?... I'd probably use Athletics. If it was to cover a long distance in a very short time cross-country riding. I might use Travel. etc /wolf -------------------- "Pain, as the billing vouchsafes, is painful..."

Once again, TOR's flexibility shows through, and I for one like it.
