Art of Disappearing
"...one poor hobbit coming in from battle is easily overlooked.’
‘It’s not always a misfortune being overlooked,’ said Merry. ‘I was overlooked just now by—no, no, I can’t speak of it."
By spending 2XP and a Fellowship Undertaking, a Hobbit who has learned the Art of Disappearing Virtue can use it to his advantage in battle by learning Overlooked.
Overlooked
During a Combat engagement with more enemies than heroes, adversaries bigger than you will engage another companion if they can [a human sized hero can be engaged by 3 normal sized or 2 giant sized adversaries]. If the Hobbit decides to use the Art of Disappearing ability, and spend a Hope point to disappear from the scene at the beginning of combat (before Onset), he may reappear at any moment (during the company's turn) attacking any target, even those in Rearward position. For his first attack, he can add his Valour rating to both Damage and Injury. He may also use the Combat Advantages dice obtainde by his companions as usual. [As he has to disappear before Onset, the Hobbit doesn't get to roll for Combat Advantages. This might be discussed]

By the way, if a moderator want to move this thread to the House-rules subforum, I think Bocephas started it all on page 2.
