New Character Sheet

The unique One Ring rules set invites tinkering and secondary creation. Whilst The One Ring works brilliantly as written, we provide this forum for those who want to make their own home-brewed versions of the rules. Note that none of these should be taken as 'official'.

Missing words:
Culture - Národ (it is not a direct translation, but the direct counterpart "kultura" has slightly different conotation in Czech)
Age - Věk
Shadow weakness: Stínová slabost (a direct translation, but one I am not really satisfied with).

I hope I have one overlooked anything...

New proof. I think the only thing untranslated (other than 'The One Ring') is Standard of Living.

- - - - - -

I'd love to get translations for Italian (and Quenya and Klingon... I don't think there's enough Sindarin, but maybe there is. There's definitely not enough 'real' Black Speech).

Quenya version would rock.

Also Old English.

Good to hear! Black-and-white versions of everything should be available in a day or two.

Thanks again for all of your hard work on these, zed! :D
Adventure Summaries for my long-running group (currently playing through The Darkening of Mirkwood/Mirkwood Campaign), and the Tale of Years for a second, lower-level group (in the same campaign).

Wow, great, thanks! Standard of living would be "Životní úroveň".

As for quenya I would probably be able to translate a bit and do know to "scholars" who could help with checking the grammar. Two questions: how much the demand is, and whether or not use tengwar (probably not).

All errors are mine (or Google's perhaps).
For this one I can help you if you wish. But it is already very good. By the way, I don't have the french version of TOR, and I don't know how they translate the Player Character Sheet. I will find it somewhere in official version.

Edit: Got It.
Nothing of Worth.

I do know there are some terminology differences, plus I had to invent some terms that didn't appear on the original sheet I was working off of. Please let me know of any corrections, especially where I've gotten some grammatical detail wrong.

I won't be able to make any changes to any of the sheets (French, Czech, Quenya, etc.) for about a week.

Zed, I've been using your sheet to remake the pregen characters for use in a TOR demo.
I noticed two small issues that aren't really important, but that I thought you should know:
1) The fonts in the weapon section don't adapt to the lenght of the text, as it does everywhere else.
2) Also in the weapons section, could the Edge colum accept in some way the Gandalf rune? Otherwise I just write G, but it would look nicer.

Of course, I've been using the spanish version. Don't know if the other languages work in the same way.

I've been encountering the same issues, which will be resolved now that I'm back at home.

The G-rune is tricky, because of the font embedding issues. The best I might be able to do is make a invisible box that, once clicked, would show the rune. But it couldn't be in the same place as the text box, so we'd lose our centering. I'll play with things and see what I can figure out.
