Yeah, I think the best is to keep it clean without the lines, but leave a little space for people to write (or form-fill) then in, if they want them.

When people get the chance, can you try out this sheet?

This should be form-fillable in all the spaces, let me know how it works for you.

I think it works fine.

Will you use any fancy type of font for the written text or a normal one like Times News Roman?

By the way, would it be fine if I PMed you a glosary with the english-spanish translation? Or could I get the document in some kind of editable format? I'm not good at editing, but I don't want to give you more work.

Yeah, PM me. Unless you have Adobe InDesign, I won't be able to send you an editable file.

Embedding fancy fonts for form text is extra tricky, I'm probably going to persist with Times unless there's a great hue and cry for something else.

Edited the first post with links to the fully form-fillable versions, in both colour and black & white.

Still thinking about putting the lines back in... testing with those who have not been following this thread indicates that the stealth boxes are quite stealthy.

On my screen (Chrome on a Mac) the fillable fields are all highlighted/visible, except when you're actually typing in them. On the one hand it's ugly, on the other hand it makes the stealth fields obvious.

Two alignment comments:
1) The first row of text fields (name, etc.) are not aligned with the titles. The text appears right down on the lines, rather than level with the titles.
2) I'd move the stealth fields over a few pixels; it is very close to the last skill checkbox.

One question: Any reason why you're not keeping the squares for the skill ranks, and keeping the rhombus for the skill groups? The stars for the skill groups seem a bit off-flavour. Or is it just me?

PM sent with a english-spanish glosary. Thanks a lot, Zed.

Ok. Thanks for the feedback. PDFs always crash my Chrome (Mac 10.10), so I have to use Acrobat/Preview. GE, we are talking just the top bit and just vertically, right?

The stars are from my half width pregens, I can look at changing it to something else.

Yes, just the top row.

By the way, I'd either fit "Fellowship" in there somehow, or just leave it "Focus". "F. Focus" feels...too informal.

Ok, I'll work on it.

P.S. now that I know you have a Mac, you have no excuse to not be spelling names properly... F R (option-e) I G I N spells Frígin; I R I M (option-u) E spells Irimë; A R R A D (option-i) I R spells Arradîr, etc. :)
