Yikes! Shadow is expensive. Maybe only pay the point if the target fails protection test?

I'm not sure if you guys realise that this thing only adds extra damage when the Weapon's edge is rolled, a Protection test failed and a Greater or Extraordinary Success rolled on the attack. In this event the character would be using Favoured Body to add to extra damage instead of normal Body Score. This will be anything from an extra +1 Damage to an extra +6 Damage depending on how Favoured the Attribute is and the severity of the hit.
I don't think that it's a game breaker. The Giant Killing Spear adds +4 Damage on all attacks. Although the Dunlending Spear affects man sized targets as well, it's maximum extra damage is mitigated by the lesser likelihood of the optimum attack occurring. Am I making sense?

You're fine to me; as I suggested above, I think it's almost too rare and that's why I went for the Gandalf + Great/Extraordinary (i.e. the Pierce but not the Wound).

I'm wondering a little about the direction these guy are taking. I definitely think that there is a big gap in the market, as regards the creation of a set of rules for 'Fallen Cultures' or for 'The One Stormbringer!', but I wonder if there are potentially going to be problems around the Miserable condition and whether we should try to stay within the current baseline for player characters. That is that they begin play, essentially, as 'heroic and morally upright' examples of their cultures.
Having said that, I do like the Cultural Blessing but I am thinking about wording the blurb for the Belly Spear to make it sound less 'vicious' and to make them a bit less 'Shadowy'.

Halbarad, I think it works fine. I was just trying to come up with something more original and wonky...possibly just for the sake of being original and wonky :-)
