Those are a thing of beauty. I'm hoping for something similar for the upcoming Journeys and Maps set--two sets of maps (Adventurers' and Loremaster's maps) that fit together to make complete maps of north-western Middle-earth in the last years of the Third Age.

Thank you so much for all the kind words, everyone! You're incredibly encouraging.
I've got something slightly different today; by request, a slightly more focused map of Fourth Age Mordor and Nurn. It's based on some of the fan-made materials for Merp, but I think it fills in some details pretty nicely. It's based largely on
this map (from which I've removed most of the Orcish settlements), and
this map (Warning: Flash, and Sound).
Here are the full-size files, and also the GIMP file in case anyone wants to play around with it.

Great stuff Michael - it was always my hope that someone would take these earlier Mordor maps and make them usable for TOR - hopefully you can later do the same for Harad!
As a LM I always thought that Mordor had such potential for running numerous adventures at different times of Middle-earth.
In case you didn't pick this up from the stuff I sent you, Gondor viewed Mordor like Germany viewed the Russian Front or the Chinese service on The Great Wall - not a place you wanted to be sent as a soldier if you could help it! (Gondor's troops nicknamed Mordor service 'The Wall')....

Next map! We're slowly moving out of canonical lands and into MERP and fanon territory. This is Khand and the lands of the Easterlings. Suggestions and critiques are definitely welcome, as I'm pretty new to the MERP material.

I've been enjoying your maps but am especially pleased with your adapting Khand and these regions to ToR.

If you want to mess around with the map and change stuff, add your own ideas or subtract mine, feel free! I'd love to see whatever modifications you make. Here's the GIMP file:

Probably the most important update this time around is the addition of some settlements in Rhovanian in maps E4 and E5, but there are a few other changes; Otaku-senpai will be pleased to note I've finally come around and switched from Gelion to Linduin for the name of the river in Forlindon (something someone said in the recent Poll thread about the river's name, about having just the High Elves calling it Gelion or Vingelion, convinced me -- with most of the High Elves cleared out of Middle Earth in the Fourth Age, it makes even more sense for it to be known by a new name).
