Optional Heroic Culture Template for TOR and AiMe
Using Google Docs, I have written an Optional Heroic Culture Template for both TOR and AiMe. I have published it to the web, so I will attempt to link to it below. I've never done this before, so wish me luck!
I hope that folks here find it useful.

It looks good, Otaku!
Although this is just a template, not a "guide for creating new Cultures", I'd like to ask if you've found any rule that determines which skills can be chosen as Favourite in the backgrounds and which not (if any). For example, could it be that skills with 3 starting points in a Culture are never among the favourites in that Culture's backgrounds?
Also, it might be useful to hint that every Culture has a common Trait in the list for each background. Players aren't forced to take it, but it is always there.

No rules that I've seen for determining the favoured background skill, though it should be tailored to the given background. However, your observation might carry through.Falenthal wrote: ↑Sun Oct 29, 2017 8:53 amIt looks good, Otaku!

Good point. And I've also added a New Trait option under Backgrounds. Also, it might be useful to hint that every Culture has a common Trait in the list for each background. Players aren't forced to take it, but it is always there.

A number of the Heroic Cultures have 3 Points in the favoured Skill of their background. Blue Mountain Dwarf, Elf of Lothlorien and Man of Bree to name a few.
That’s a good shout on the Trait though and one that I have missed in my own culture building attempts.

I’m wondering if it might to worthwhile, when creating new Heroic Cultures, to consider how others see them as well as how they see others?

Maybe, but I'm not sure I want to reflect that on the template.

I've added Endurance and Hope to the template.
