38? Seems like a brite of a hobbit to me.
My own offline group (not the one I am running for on roll 20), over a year ago did Marsh bell, with a map I did of the area in Campaign Cartographer, and I used the Mewlips recording from a casette. That roup had 3 women and 3 men as players. One character was entranced by the noise. No one could figure out what was happening.
When the Troll appeared they didn't question it, and just kept shooting bows and charged in. Nor did they question the two dwarves, but felt pity and helped them to safety. A hobbit tried to steal some treasure and got away with a little bit. In the marsh a hazard led a hobbit to fall out of a boat, with a failed swimming roll, also. The dwarf used fellowship to reach in and grab the hobbit, and thus they saw the beauty of the rules system.
I liked it a lot I didn't question it, just ran it, and they liked it.
Now I just ran my 14th session of running this over the three groups, I have been doing my own scenarios since I started running this on Roll 20, 7 Sessions ago.
Liking the game, lucky to have good players.
