The wording in improving these with XP is a little unclear.

It says 'you can't improve them by more then one rank'

While it's obvious you can't go from Valor 2, Wisdom 1, to Valor 2, Wisdom 3...

Does the wording also prevent you from going from Valor 2, Wisdom 1, to Valor 3, Wisdom 2?

The way I read it is that you can only buy one rank in either Valour or Wisdom per Fellowship phase. So you can only buy +1 Valour or +1 Wisdom, but not both at the same time.

I allow one of either, or both if you have the experience points. Not 2 in the same stat though.

I go with increasing just one and only by 1 point per Fellowship Phase. Not both.

Same here, only one rank in either valour or wisdom, no more.

Angela, i had the same questions and problem until it was pointed out to me that that is only one of the 2 restrictive text pieces addressing this question. The other part is this, in the paragraph before that:

"Heroes may buy a rank in Valour or Wisdom..."

Really, that tells you everything you need to know.
