Coming next for The One Ring™
Re: Coming next for The One Ring™
About the maps... I take it that the new core rule book will have the two different maps like the slipcase set? It would be great if these could include the updated locations from Heart of the Wild.

Very interesting. I'm curious if we get a pdf version when we pre-order, not just a pdf with the changes to the current edition.
Couldn't see the cover in detail, though..

I think the new cover looks great. And while I like having some details reserved for the Loremaster's Book in the current edition, I suspect that putting the whole game into a single book will make it much easier to use at the table.
Now: when in June can we pre-order it? :-)

My problem is... I don't care if the content is mostly the same - I am a sucker for hardbound tomes so I will have to buy it also. Dammit.

Re: Coming next for The One Ring™
As they will need to make a PDF to send the file to the printer I have no doubt that the pdf sent out with pre-orders for people buying this will not differ depending on if you bought the older version or not.
The pdf with the changes, revisions and clarifications from the original 2 volume set will likely have a release date noted when the pre-order page goes up.

Re: Coming next for The One Ring™
But will the pdf for the new core rule book be ready for when we pre-order, or will it be at a later date?
Anyways, I love hardcovers, and the cover looks great.

Re: Coming next for The One Ring™
As a matter of general policy when we open a pre-order the game is off to print. There are some exceptions - Doctor Who Limited Edition being one example, and we flagged that up at the time. So stay tuned for those specifics.

Ok, a couple of questions that have recently occured to me.
1) What is the situation with the Rivendell sourcebook? I ask because of the latest info stating that the New Core book will "soon" be ready for pre order, but there has been no notification as such for Rivendell?
2) I am asking this as positively as I can. With the print version of DoM now being, approximately, a month past due its ETA for release has that adversely effected the schedule that was posted for the future releases a couple of months ago?
