Wow, even with pallets that's a LOT of books! Awesome stuff.

The Adventurer’s Companion – Not long after the release of the new core manual comes the first supplement aimed squarely at players. Including a whole wealth of advice, ideas and background for making your own hero and company, as well as new Heroic Cultures including Bree-folk, Riders of Rohan, Dwarves of the Blue Mountain, the Elves of Lorien and Men of Gondor, a new Calling in the form of the Captain
Can someone say if the Companion will also include all other Cultures (the ones from Rhovanion, plus the Elves and Rangers from Rivendell) and also the already known Callings?

In other words, will only the new info be included or will it collect everything that is published and that the players need to know?

Thank you.

At a guess, I would think that the designers would want to avoid that level of repetition. material already in the core rules book will probably not be included in The Adventurer's Companion. I'm not as sure about Cultures introduced later.

For now we'll be focusing all our attention on Rivendell and the new core manual. With the Companion a little further back in the queue we won't be answering questions on that one until we get a little bit closer. Once we reach that point we'll fill everyone in with all the details.

I think it will be split between the two. Rivendell will have the Nolder Elves and the Rangers. While the Companion will have the rest. I doubt all the cultures will be listed in the companion, as it would be "useless" redundancy.

Thanks, Jon. I'll wait until autumn, then.

Beran, Otaku-Sempai, I expect also the same as you.
My only concern was that, now, the rules for the LM are spread in two books.
If cultures and callings aren't collected in only one book, then the new "setup" will have the info for the players spread in two (at least) books.

Whatever the case, I know I'll be buying all of them :D .

Something will have to be done to tighten things up a little, particularly if they start adding other cultures (ie Imrahil's people and so forth.)

So this might be a silly question, but I figured I would ask it anyway. With the new edition coming out, will all the older released supplements like Darkening, Heart of the Wild, and Tales from Wildland still be in print and available? I only just recently got the box set and I've been planning to buy the others when I get the chance. I'd hate to miss them.

All the older material will still be valid and available. From what I understand, anyway.

According to the front page, Beran is 100% right:
Are my supplements all still compatible?

There are a number of fantastic supplements available already for The One Ring and they’re still completely compatible with the new edition.
So I'd guess (and bet a good amount of money) that the supplements staying in print and available, because everything else would cost C7 money.
