We've all been there. No worries!Otaku-sempai wrote: ↑Thu Mar 01, 2018 7:21 pmBad memory! Plus over-reliance on the larger-scale maps that seem to show Bree a short distance from the Road. If I had actually taken a close look at either Fonstad's map or the one on pages 24 & 25 of the Bree sourcebook, I would have realized my mistake.

On the bright side, you can use a "is Bree on the road?" "no, the village is off the road, but the land inside the hedge is technically Bree, so technically Bree is technically on the road" conversation pretty much verbatim as NPC dialogue in the Pony. That's the sort of nitpicky, parochial and supremely local stuff they like to talk about

Considering I'm currently fleshing out the first encounter my players will have in the common room of the Prancing Pony, I'm obligated to inform you I'll be stealing this idea! Excellent suggestion!Mytholder wrote: ↑Thu Mar 01, 2018 10:42 pmOn the bright side, you can use a "is Bree on the road?"
