Hill-trolls parry +1

Post by Ecorce » Fri Mar 09, 2018 6:38 pm

I don't understand and can't find the explanation why Hill-Trolls (and their chief) have a "(+1)" after their Parry value.

What does it mean?

It's the bonus to parry for a Small Shield (in my 1st ed. books it's specified that they have a buckler)

Oh! Thank you. I don't see that in my french version. It is just suggested they can use shields in their description, but nothing more.

I have found the explanation just in the Italian version of the 1st edition.
English 1st and 2nd edition don't give any explanation for that +1 to parry.
Curious.
