Hi,
I'm running this adventure and a few doubts arose in my mind.
When the company is taken by the elves, they travel north for a "couple of days" through secret paths until they reach the Forest River, the bridge and the Forest Citadel.
What is exactly is the Forest Citadel? How many days are a "couple of days"?
Thanks

Certainly in Britain a couple specifically means 2

The Forest Citadel seems to be an Elven fortress carved into a hill just north of the Forest River; it might have originally been a natural cave or network of caves.
And, yes, a couple of days would indicate two days of travel. That also indicates far swifter travel than should normally be allowed in Mirkwood; but the company does have a Wood-elf escort and are using secret Elven paths, so I am more than willing to overlook that.
